Aprovix AB is a Swedish medical device company dedicated to developing scalable, evidence-based solutions for cervical cancer prevention.

The company was founded in 2001 by Professor Erik Wilander at Uppsala University Hospital in Sweden, and its strong scientific origins remain central to its work today. In 2026, the Mattsson Family became majority owners of Aprovix, committing to the long-term mission of contributing to a cervical cancer–free future through global collaboration and public health impact.

Unique blend of broad-based international operational experience in general management; sales, marketing, business development, and strategic planning. Innovative self-starter, builds consensus for company goals and approaches each new challenge with a contagious desire for success. Strengths include high energy level, leadership, vision and a commitment to a quality performance. Extended experience of restructuring, buy-outs and IPO's.

Tatiana Erhan is Director of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs at Aprovix, with more than 15 years of experience in medical devices, in vitro diagnostics (IVD), and pharmaceuticals.

An expert in MDR and IVDR implementation, ISO 13485 quality systems, and global regulatory strategy, she has successfully guided organizations through complex regulatory transitions and international market access. Combining a strong scientific background with deep regulatory expertise, Tatiana helps clients navigate compliance requirements while supporting innovation and business growth.

Susanne has a background across the hospitality, fashion, and luxury consumer goods industries.

Sales-driven and highly relationship-oriented, Susanne combines strong communication skills with a practical, service-focused approach. At Aprovix, she is responsible for managing customer and partner relationships, supporting implementation, and ensuring a high level of responsiveness, quality, and continuity across engagements.

Ebba brings a broad-based international background spanning strategy, business development, partnerships, and commercial operations.

At Aprovix, her work represents a deliberate focus on applying commercial and strategic expertise to long-term public health impact.

Erik Wiklander
Founder & Medical Director

Professor Erik Wilander holds certifications as MD; with specialist certifications in Clinical Cytology and Surgical Pathology. Between 1985 and 2010 Erik was Chairman of the Department of Clinical Cytology at Uppsala University Hospital. Professor in clinical pathology from 2001.

He has authored 280+ in scientific journals; mainly in endocrine pathology, clinical cytology, cervical cancer and HPV related diseases. Erik was first to use at-home self–sampling for HPV screening with dry samples and is the inventor of Qvintip®.
